MuSa Blues, directed by Maestro Stefano Ciuffi, was created as part of the Musica Sapienza project with the aim of creating a large vocal and instrumental ensemble to explore all the musical worlds that share the language of Blues as their starting point: Blues, Gospel, Soul, Funk, Rock, and Rhythm ‘n’ Blues. The goal is to combine a large vocal group with a solid rhythm section, with the addition of a horn section, similar to the great groups of the past such as the Tamla/Motown or Stax Records bands. Great attention is paid to writing original arrangements of great classics and lesser-known songs, from traditional to contemporary.
